Our donors and supporters are the backbone of Alternatives Care Centers. The good work that is done inside the clinic and out in the community happens because of the generosity of people like you. The ongoing events serve as a means to raise awareness about Alternatives, connect with you on a personal level, inviting you to partner with us, and share the impact your financial support is having in our communities.
Because we believe that LIFE has value from conception to the grave, and in conjunction with the emphasis on the Sanctity of Human Life in January, Alternatives will be creating space on Friday, January 24th, for people around the community to come together and actively engage with Alternatives by intentionally praying for the unborn, their families, and our state leaders, as well as worshiping our Lord, the creator of LIFE.
The evening is for adults and children and will be an “Open House” style from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Dinner will be catered by Skinny Kennys. Meal tickets will be limited to the first 200 to register and must be purchased by January 16th. General admission tickets that do not include dinner are free and will be available online and at the door. Prayer rooms will be open throughout the entire evening. Beginning at 6:30, we invite you to worship with a multiple-church worship band and engage in pastor-led prayer for the work of Alternatives and the Sanctity of Human Life.
Join us for a guided open house tour. If you’ve never stepped through the inner doors of Alternatives, now is your chance! Meet the staff and experience what Alternatives looks like from a client’s perspective.
You’ll see firsthand where ministry happens and have a chance to interact with the staff. Hear our vision for the future as we seek to expand our reach.
Save the date! We are gearing up to Walk for Life in both Kalamazoo and Battle Creek on June 14th. Both locations will have food, fun, and fellowship. We hope you can join us as we walk to save lives!
Funds raised at the gala help to sustain our ministry and allow us to continue providing services to our clients at no cost. This year's gala will be held on October 7th & 8th at Gull Lake Ministries. More details will be coming soon.
Did you know it takes upwards of 40 people to volunteer at each event for all of our locations? That's about 200 people over the course of a year. Did you also know that volunteering at just one event takes about TWO hours of your time? TWO hours to spend with other like-minded believers, two hours to meet new friends, and two hours to greatly support the ministry of Alternatives. Volunteering at fundraising events is FUN! When you volunteer at an event, that could look like anything from registration to parking cars, serving a meal, setting up, or tearing down with the clean-up crew. Everything makes a huge impact and we would love for you to join the FUN!
